chain maille necklaces

Do you know that chain maille (French) or chain mail (english) means a flexible armor or jewelry made of interlinked metal rings lot and lot of rings?
Several patterns of linking the rings together have been known since ancient times and the earliest finds are from the 4th century BC.

That's just a little about its history and I'm not planning to make a chainmaille vest, haha! Here are just simple chainmaille necklace patterns.

Well, looks like brass is my favorite material for chain necklaces at this time. Talking about brass, I like its muted yellow color, somewhat similar to gold and its relatively resistant to tarnishing.

That's about it. So what do you think of these pieces? hmmmmm..would you wear these with your little black dress? sounds someone wants go party with these necklaces. Have a  great time viewing! Watch out for my next chainmaille creations.
